SOFTWARE TOOLS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER – JOB AVAILABLE IN EDINBURGH

A market leading organisation are looking to add an Software Tools Development Engineer to join their growing R&D team.

The Software Tools Development Engineer will develop and support state-of-the-art equipment and their complex products that are sold all over the world. They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Their product lines are stable and they are investing a lot of money in to new product development.

As an Software Tools Development Engineer role you will work closely with the product design teams to develop a range of software tools for new software applications, this will also include support and maintenance.

Ideally the Tools Development Engineer will have:

– Degree in relevant engineering/IT discipline

– Experience in Python and Javascript

– Experience in linux shell scripting
