SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN EDINBURGH, MIDLOTHIAN

A market leading organisation are looking to add a System Test Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Edinburgh, Midlothian.

The System Test Engineer will develop test cases for state-of-the-art equipment and complex measurement and monitoring products that are sold all over the world. They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Their product lines are stable and they are investing a lot of money in to new product development.

As a System Test Engineer you will work as part of our multi-discipline product design teams to develop and execute system level tests to qualify products for launch.

The System Test Engineer will be responsible for working with both the R&D and manufacturing teams to develop and document automated and manual test suites as well as recording results to resolve issues.

Ideally the System Test Engineer will have:

– Degree level in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.

– Strong background in Electronics

– Knowledge of test automation frameworks 

– Programming/scripting experience with either C#, TCL or Python
