System Test Engineer – Linlithgow- Scotland
We’re supporting an innovative technology business developing advanced test and measurement products for global telecoms networks. They’re now looking for a System Test Engineer – Linlithgow- Scotland to join their R&D team.
You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, developing and executing system-level tests to qualify hardware and software products for release. This is a hands-on role offering exposure across a range of technologies and products.
What you’ll be doing as the System Test Engineer – Linlithgow- Scotland
- Creating test plans from hardware and software requirements
- Developing and running manual and automated tests
- Executing full system test cycles ahead of release
- Logging defects and working closely with engineers to resolve issues
- Contributing to test tools, environments and best practice
What we’re looking for within the System Test Engineer – Linlithgow- Scotland
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Experience testing complex hardware and software systems
- Python scripting and automated test experience
- Knowledge of test frameworks and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Detail-focused, curious and comfortable working in a collaborative team
