TECHNICAL SUPPORT / NETWORK ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN HARROW, GREATER LONDON
A very well-established IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) organisation based in Harrow, Greater London, are seeking an experienced Technical Support / Network Engineer to join their growing team. This organisation is currently in the process of moving to a larger / state-of-the-art office in Harrow.
As a Technical Support / Network Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
- Network Engineering: pre-sales design, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, etc.
- Providing technical support to customers via telephone, remote and onsite attendance.
- 2nd and 3rd line support.
- Working with Microsoft Servers, Networking, Firewalls.
- Maintaining and improving customer services.
- Resolve or escalate problems and service requests to senior engineers including line managers Liaise with external service providers.
Technical Support / Network Engineer – Job Requirements:
- Strong networking experience including routing, switching.
- Experience with Microsoft servers.
- To be CCNA qualified, ideally to CCNP level.
- Strong communication skills with 2nd and 3rd line support experience.
- Any of the following would be beneficial but not essential: VMWare, Citrix, HP, network infrastructure design.
