NEW TEST & REPAIR TECHNICIAN ROLE BASED IN PULBOROUGH, WEST SUSSEX

As a Test & Repair Technician your main objectives will include the testing and investigation of production products using automatic test fixtures as part of cell manufacturing.

  • Testing, fault finding, and repairing high voltage power supplies.
  • Completing test reports and documentation in strict accordance with customer requirements and our Quality Management System standards.
  • Upgrading and modifying assemblies and finished products as needed.
  • Implementing changes to assemblies and finished products in line with documentation.
  • Identifying product quality and performance issues, promptly raising non-conformances.
  • Collaborating closely with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales to meet customer requirements and ensure the highest standards of finished product quality and performance.

To excel in the Test & Repair Technician role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in testing products by following procedures accurately and meeting standard timeframes.
  • Ability to operate test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.
  • Experience in high voltage test methods.
  • Proficiency in soldering and rework methods to IPC standards.
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing facility.
