Job Title: UKI Commercial & Customer Service Manager

Role overview:

As part of the UK & Ireland leadership team, this role is responsible for the zone’s commercial function to support achievement of the business objectives.  This person has a relentless passion for processes, performance metrics and data insights and works across the Eaton business.  Working closely with EMEA functional and shared services team this roles leads the back-office team & is accountable for:

  • Commercial due diligence to ensure financial governance of project business, timely payment/cash applications and revenue recognition reconciliations
  • Legal, commercial agreements and customer rebates
  • Pricing administration
  • Debits and returns processes
  • Order management 
  • Customer experience & escalation including e-business and online ordering platforms
  • SIOP and inventory management
  • In-country supply chain management including stock flows, freight routings, import and export tariffs/processes, PTP, vendor management & local stock control
  • Operational excellence defining/enhancing E2E processes & developing/implementing new business tools & processes aligned to EMEA transformation
  • Audit, compliance & ISO certification ensuring we meet audit/compliance requirements and driving any corrective/improvement actions
  • Team leadership using the Eaton Leadership model to accelerate personal development and talent progression
  • Continuous improvement using lean management tools/techniques with process standardisation, elimination of waste and manual interventions, boosting organisation productivity, leveraging new digital capabilities 
     

Qualifications:

  • Minimum degree level or equivalent, preferably engineering or business related or industry experience
  • Proven track record in business systems and development of processes, knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferable), supervision of teams and setting strategic initiatives for an operational business

Skills:

  • IT literate
  • Excellent communicator, able to work well with others, able to plan, organise and prioritise
  • Good collaborator and able to present balanced views
